March 3, 2010 | COMMENTS
Redspin, a technology security firm that specializes in IT security audits, has compiled a PDF checklist that summarizes some common issues that can be addressed by the IT department or audit groups to target areas of probable risk to the confidentiality and integrity of data as well as system availability. The questionnaire is an overview of common issues rather than a complete security guide, but should still be helpful in identifying any key areas on which to focus your mitigation resources, including vendor risk, websites, firewalls, and validation.
After completing the survey, total your scores to identify your level of risk:
Totally your scores will identify your level of risk:
30 or Less = Critical Risk |
31 to 50 = High Risk |
51 to 70 = Security Is Average |
71 to 90 = Medium to Low Risk |
90 or Greater = Low Risk, Highly Secure
